1978 Triumph Bonneville T140E

1978 Triumph T140E.  I bought this bike from a dealer who re-imported it from the USA.  I recommissioned it and registered it with an age related number plate in the UK  in 2016.  When I bought it, I put on new tyres, new exhaust system, electronic ignition, powerbox system for the charging with new coil pack, cleaned and serviced the carburettors, oils changed and filter cleaned, new fork stachions with seals and covers, speedo sent away and serviced.  It shows just over 11,926 miles on the speedo which may be correct as it has original patina on it, however I can’t verify this.  It has indentations on the frame down tubes where I imagine a pair of high-rise footrests were once installed, doesn’t affect its handling or performance.  Paintwork could do with being done professionally and looks fine to me so I’ve not changed it.   The battery is roughly 18 months old.   Selling as I need to pay for a  new gas boiler.  Collection only from Weston-super-Mare.  UK bidders and buyer only please with more than 50 postive feedbacks.  No buy it now price as I will let the auction run to the end.  £500 deposit via PayPal on completion of the auction please with remainder in cash on collection.  Happy to help your courier with your collection if required.  Any questions please call 07789716648.  WhatsApp me and I’ll send a video of it running to you.
