For sale my 1977 BMW R1007 custom build ,This bike was built in the French alps over a long winter in 2010 by myself under the brand MAKE ,shortly after the bike was complete it was taken back to the UK and was used just a couple of times , the last time it was MOT and taxed was in 2014 , it has now been stored in a underfloor heated garage workshop, under cover, just started up every now and then , so I have decided to sell the bike as it needs to be used .The bike has featured in many web sites and has also won first prize in custom bike show in Bristol .I bought the bike in 2010 as a great running 34K dirty used daily , I cannot be sure that was the correct mileage at the time but it felt good and tight no smoke or rattles As you can see from the images the the bike has had a complete nut and bolt conversion to a very high standard of finish .frame and body work blasted and powder coated badge delete and spray finish to a show condition carried out by custom French spray company .engine heads of cleaned and checked , all new oil gaskets filters eatnew clutchall new brake components stainless hoses .new tyres New battery just fitted.Carbs cleaned and checked fitted with KN filters .Custom battery box and leather seat .The list goes on and on .as I have mentioned the bike has been sitting around for a very long time a could do with a couple of small things ..the bike runs well and starts but carbs need balancing .the speedo cable is a bit temperamentalthe forks feel a little spongy .Theres a small paint chip on the head light bowl.
If i were to keep the bike `I would up grade the electrics to a MOTGADGET keyless system , as all the electrics are good but they are a little tight in the head light bowl also I would move the battery to just under the gear box a fit a anti gravity unit .
I am  selling the bike as I do not have the time for it and I am returning to France , the bike is a real eye catcher ,simple minimal stylish .I have set a very realistic price for the bike , as I think   the more modern electric upgrades and battery would cost no more than £700  , I have seen many not very great custom builds asking crazy money .Please do not bid on this bike unless you intend to Buy . viewing highly recommend in central Bristol .   the first images are from when the bike was first completed  , the later from now , not much change in nearly 12 years .Good luck
