Old School Moto Guzzi Cafe Racer – huge grin factor – not a slow bike. She’s a bit of a beast!
One of the nicest Cafe’d Moto Guzzi’s around. Draws a crowd wherever she goes and a blast to ride, great handling with plenty of power.

Built in 2013 by myself while I lived in Germany so conforms to the TUV system for anyone wanting to return it to foreign soil. Imported to UK March 2017, currently with UK V5 & MOT.

Built using the V1000 G5 frame and engine with a mix of Guzzi parts mostly new & some reconditioned in an attempt to stay true to the Café Racer ethos.
Engine is stock, stripped, checked, re-gasketed & painted, believed to have around 40,000km on it, there’s no sign of wear on the inside. Extended sump added bringing the filter to the outside and aiding cooling. I’ve put 5000 dry miles on it since 2013. The engine is a powerhouse, a workhorse, reliable and full of Torque. This is not a slow bike and not for the fait hearted, it’s an absolute joy to throw around the countryside and good for 130mph (accurately tested with a specially calibrated speedo). Always kept well maintained and has never let me down!
Dellorto PHF Carbs, jetted and adjusted for large diameter bellmouths and straight through Lafranconi Competizioni pipes, (legal in both Germany and UK due to it being an 80’s bike) I have the noise test doc from the Germans, they sound awesome, low down and dirty for those that don’t know the Guzzi noise.
Koni adjustable rear shocks, standard front forks with upgraded springs. ABM floating front disks (ABE approved for MG V1000), drilled MG rear disks with standard MG pots, upgraded pads and braided hoses.
Custom front mudguard and bracket.
Clip-on’s with retro grips and Rizoma bar end mirrors, Oberon bar end blinkers. All CE approved.
Professionally made wiring loom with under-seat fuse box. High quality German water-proof connectors and kit used throughout.
New Bosch alternator with ElectroSport ESR450 regulator/rectifier. (fault free since fitting).
Under-frame battery box with strong output battery which remains on a battery manager (included with sale).
Mini mechanical MMB speedo and electronic tacho both wired with white LED lighting.
Headlamp with LED sidelight and aluminium LSE brackets.
Micro all-in-one rear lights by Kellermann. Not easy to see on the photos but extremely bright!
Modified Rizoma plate holder with Led plate lamp.
Custom built seat by Vonzetti.
All paint by pro custom shop.
Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tyres with tubes.
Box of spares inc.: additional KMH Speedo (5 mins to fit), manuals, folder full of receipts and a Moto Guzzi dust cover.
UK MOT until March 2021.
Serviced (March 2020) with engine and drive oil, filter & rear brakes.
