Mint Customs Ducati Street Tracker
As you can see, this bike is a complete one off, I built it a few years ago; the bike featured in the first season of Mint Customs Youtube series and it has been show cased at The Bike Shed events, on their youtube channel and displayed at their Shoreditch venue; being a founding member of the BSMC helps with that… the bike was also selected to be on display at the NEC motorcycle live show a couple of years ago. Since being built the bike has been show cased more than it’s been ridden, but it has still been ridden, in addition to a few trips to Finchingfield; the bike has been used at the Malle Mile sprint, for a session on a trackday at Donington and has run a couple of climbs at the famous Prescot Hill Climb.
Please do search online for the bike, it is well documented; just type Ali’s Ducati street tracker or Mint Customs Street tracker and you’ll find some videos… you may also come across my Sport Classic, that is also for sale!
So… what exactly is it you might ask… Well the original donor bike was a Ducati 900ss ie model, but the frame had a dink in the head section, this meant I had to find another frame and an ST2 frame became available; so the motor is a 900ss and the frame and V5 are ST2. The wheels are from a KTM Supermoto, the Ohlins suspension up front is from an Aprilia RSVR and the rear is from a Yamaha XJR1200. The tank is a Ducati 1098 item and then all the other bits are random stuff I either had, found or made.
The paint is a lovely old English white with a vintage 70’s Porsche green accent. The frame is gloss white and the black areas are Satin.
The bike has a valid MOT until December and hasn’t been used this year but benefits from a new battery just a week or so ago.
My partner and I are moving overseas next year, so we’re starting to reduce the bike collection, so do check out my other items, you’ll notice they’re all some level of custom!
Pricing a custom motorcycle is always tricky, this is a professional custom build and cost nearly £10,000, not counting my time, offers are welcomed; but please don’t mistake me for a fool nor a desperate seller, I don’t mind waiting for the right buyer at the right time.
The bike is located in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
Collection is preferable but delivery could be organised for a fee, please get in touch to discuss.
Bank transfer or cash on collection, the bike will not be released until funds are clear.
