This is a 1982 Ducati MHR having done 39,900 miles and presented in fantastic ‘every day’ sports riding specification with period sympathetic modifications to make it go, stop and handle far better than original. Approx. £15K of recent engine/chassis/electrics work.
In my view, the ultimate ‘riders’ MHR with engine just run-in after complete rebuild, many new OEM chassis parts, more high spec ones (i.e. Tomaselli, Ikon, HEL), lots of cosmetic/paint work and new reliable digital electrics throughout.

Engine – Just been carefully run-in after specialist engine rebuild by Sports Motorcycles Ltd – the company that prepared Hailwood’s original TT winning bike – including new pistons, valves, bearings, crank balancing, gearbox service, new Dellorto PHM 40mm carbs, high output oil pump, Surflex clutch kit etc.
Chassis – Extensive chassis work including 900SS single seat unit, Ikon adjustable shock absorbers to match original look, refurbished forks, new throttle/clutch cables, new chain/sprockets/swingarm protectors, new wheel bearings, new OEM footrests plus gear/brake linkages and new Tomaselli adjustable clip-ons/headlight brackets. New handlebar grips and gear, brake, kickstart rubbers.
Brakes – New Beringer Aero brake levers/master cylinder and HEL stainless steel brake lines plus new stainless steel bundy lines and brackets. New high tensile disc rotor bolts throughout.
Electrics – New Motogadget electrics including Chronoclassic speedo/rev counter, switchgear, M-unit digital control system with M-button programmer, Odyssey high performance battery and Oberon bar-en LED indicators.
Cosmetics – all original alloy, chrome and paintwork in very good condition. All new stainless steel fasteners to original spec throughout. Wheels have just been gold powder coated to original colour.
