Welcome to my auction for a Kawasaki GT550. H reg.
The bike was originally damage savaged but has been rebuilt. I’ve had it quite a few years but only used it for one summer. Sounds awesome and a real head turner!
Kids came along and I just don’t have time to use it now. It’s just been sat in the garage under a sheet.
I have the original clocks which show 20802 miles. The custom speedo is showing 398 but since it’s come out of storage its not working. Just fitted a new speedo cable so possibly need a new speedo head. The needle on the speedo is very jumpy.
I’ve just had a bike mechanic look at it to get it running. It starts up on choke and ticks over fine. Revs cleanly too.
Just needs a fresh MOT and it can be enjoyed.

New battery fitted
Shortened seat frame and custom made leather seat
The frame and wheels have been bead blasted and powder coated satin black
Brand new tyres fitted
New adjustable rear shockers
Repainted tank
Customised rear number plate holder
A lot of the nuts and bolts have been replace with polished SS ones

Speedo head (they are very cheap)
Some of the wiring could be tidied up but everything works as it should
