Kawasaki 750 Zephyr custom Flat Tracker.
Yes, I know, it is not a true flat tracker, cafe racer etc, those terms are so overused it’s painful, but they need to go into the search, you know the score.
This is my 1995 750 Zephyr, customised in a flat track 70s style.  Modified subframe with fibreglass tail piece topped off with a white LEATHER (not vinyl) seat.  Custom stainless steel exhaust with the revised silencer as shown in the photos, it was too loud and not enough back pressure previously.   Custom front number board with LED lights, and a miniature LED stop/tail light.   Indicators are removed but switches and wiring still present for easy refit if so desired.   Paint work is obviously custom, done by me, I’m not a painter, so I end up doing a battered distressed look.  I love this style regardless, I’m not a fan of neat glossy paint jobs, so I just end up doing what I like within my capabilities.   It’s not to everyone’s taste, but will appeal to some.  Removing the bodywork to repaint if necessary is an absolute cinch.
Brand new tyres (conti TKC 80 front, mitas rear)Brakes overhauled – fronts have had rebuild kits and new pads, new fluid all roundRecent chain and sprockets Engine serviced – new oil & filter, plugs, air filter Carbs stripped and overhauled Comes with some original parts including front mudguard etc. New MOT ready for it’s new owner
This bike is just aching for some dude to turn up in his Red Wing boots and Biltwell lid and roar off into the sunset, or nearest Vegan jigsaw puzzle shop, whichever is closer.
It’s a cool looking, very reliable Jap 4 cylinder bike, easy to ride, and carrying a lot more kudos than a lot of other similar style bikes that are made from donor bikes that do not lend themselves to this style – when did you ever see a BMW K Series cafe racer for Petes sake? – I rest my case.  But each to their own.
It’s quite a small compact bike, fairly lightweight and would definitely suit shorter riders.  Regardless, I’m 6’ and nearly 17 stone and I’m still very comfortable on it and could quite happily do some distance on it…….Then go for a kebab
Pricing is fickle, it’s worth what the potential buyer is willing to pay.  It’s listed for a price that reflects it’s larger appeal to those who genuinely want a bike like this, knowing that it is a unique custom machine, nicely done, with nice parts.   If it’s not your thing, then please don’t make ridiculous offers saying it needs a 2 grand respray.  Politely move on and buy a glitter ball.
I can deliver anywhere in the UK (for an agreed fee) Possible PX, but I’m pretty fussy, let me know what you’ve got, but I prefer a straight sale (bank transfer preferred) Thanks for looking.   Dale 07507594990
