As with the V7 announcement, Guzzi is calling out new “technological and mechanical features,” The main event on both of the 2021 V9 models is the appearance of the “new” 850cc engine derived from the unit on last year’ V85 TT adventure-biased rig. If nothing else, the engine upgrade will likely make for a more spirited ride. this version makes a claimed 65 hp at 6,800 rpm. As on the V85 and the more recently announced 2021 V7 bikes, both new V9s have the frame updated as well, with a reinforced headstock for better stability. As for even more subtle tweaks, Guzzi has also seen fit to mount the 2021 V9′s footpegs on rubber pads to reduce vibrations, while the V9 Bobber also gets a slimmer and more shapely seat.
