For sale is my much loved Bullet 500 T trails 2002 with private registration R500 RET.
I bought the Enfield from my brother in March this year after my trip to Morocco got cancelled. It’s been an absolute pleasure to ride around the Lake District in the fantastic weather we’ve had as you can see from the photos and it’s also made the cover photo of Royal Enfield GB Facebook page.
It’s in exemplary condition having been fully stripped down, cleaned, zinc plated and rebuilt by my brother which is sole hobby and he’s a perfectionist. Which is the reason I bought it from him. I’m selling it now as my savings are low and I’m in need of a car for work, otherwise I’d happily keep the bullet for many more years as I’ve always wanted one.
MOT is due to expire 12.03.2021 and I have no doubts there will be any issues with MOTS for years to come. It’s only covered just over 3000 miles in the last 4 years. 10210 miles or 16433 km
Coming with the bike is a 4l can of Silkolene Classic oil which is pretty much full as the bike has been completely maintenance free since I’ve had it. Also coming is a new set of front and rear alloy mud guards which I’ve had for years that I was to use on an old Honda project I was building. The is also a full Royal Enfield workshop maintenance and repair manual.
I’m happy if you would like to come to view the bike, if you have cash with you then I would be happy for you to ride it to see for yourself how much of a fantastic bike it is. (but only if you know how to kick and ride a bullet with right foot gear change with one up and the rest down!
Like I said I’m not happy that unfortunately I have to part with it as I would gladly keep it for many more years as my Lake District sunny weather ride. I’m sure it’ll put a smile on anyone’s face.
Any questions please just ask. I do have a video of the bike running of necessary.
New electronic ignition, new stator and rotor, new coil and new reg rec. Chain and sprockets and tyres. New primary drive chain. Top end service. New swingarm bushes. Frame, swingarm and all brackets powder coated.  All a thousand miles ago.
