A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY to purchase ONE or TWO, yes TWO, almost identical custom built bikes. Yes, ‘ITS TWINS’.
Created from the s**t heap that is the GN250, I have built 2 street scrambler style bikes which are not only fashionable & trendy, but make for a very practical town / urban & fun mode of transport.Even with the bigger tyres & raised suspension, the seat height is still only around 30″-31″ & with being also a narrow bike, weighing very little, these would be suitable for anyone on the shorter side.
One is from 1990 & the other, a 1993 model. (they even have gear indicators).When I acquired them, one had been in storage for several months & the other, occasionally & recently used but un-cared for.
Not your typical ‘needs finishing project’ with tatty wiring, ally chequer plate side panel cut with a blunt butter knife lash up, usually sporting un-lengthened side stand with the need to carry a brick everywhere & a cobbled together collection of mis-matched components, but a well thought out, well built, selection of parts with no expense spared on the normally forgotten (important) bits such as bearings, service items & other neat touches.Yes, I could have spent more, a lot more, on some items, but these are personal preferences & can be updated or customised to your taste later. Even with the low residual value of GN250’s (anything from £500 to over £1500) in standard form & relative cheapness as a donor bike, costs have still had to be kept as low practical in an attempt for me to regain my outlay. I Still spent £1000’s in total (its surprising how it adds up).I have seen albeit ‘professionally’ built examples of GN250 based custom bikes with asking prices of around £4 or £5 k in the past, & that’s for only one. Remember this sale can be for TWO bikes but they are available separately.

The 1st one (1993) with gold bars & shocks has;
new front tyre, new forks complete, new fork gaiters, new front wheel bearings, new front mudguard, EBC front disc, new brake calliper piston & seals, new brake pads, new braided stainless steel brake line, Gsx750 master cylinder with new seal kit, new span adjustable front brake lever, new speedo cable, spoke covers, new steering head bearings, Renthal bars in gold, new headlight brackets, new mirrors, new fuel tank with tap & cap, new seat, new mini indicators, carbon effect number board, new swinging arm bearings, new longer rear remote reservoir shocks, new rear wheel bearings, new genuine Suzuki brake arm, new genuine Suzuki chain adjusters, spoke covers, new sprocket carrier bearing, new chain & sprockets, new cush drive rubbers, new Bridgestone trailwing rear tyre, new rear mudguard, new rear light, new number plate & reflector, new motocross style front foot pegs, new Gsxr pillion foot pegs, custom exhaust with new stainless steel link pipe, new stainless silencer (titanium finish) with 2 stage removeable baffle, new exhaust springs & Mikalor clamps. spare number plate.
Original noisy engine showing 31k miles swapped for one with only 21k miles (DVLA informed & V5 updated). This has had valve clearances done, new engine oil filter, oil strainer cleaned, new engine oil, new air filter, new crankcase filter, new spark plug, younger replacement carb cleaned, new Motobatt battery & strap.
Frame has rear hoop added, modified for new parts as required, de-lugged, blasted & painted. Side stand has been extended to compensate for the larger tyres & raised suspension.    ————————————————————————————————————————————————————–  The 2nd one (1990) with blue bars & shocks has;

Engine showing 41k miles has had new engine oil filter, oil strainer cleaned, new engine oil, new air filter, new crankcase filter, new spark plug, carb cleaned, new tacho cable, new clutch cable, new Motobatt battery.

Anything not mentioned – if its not been replaced with new or better used, it has been refinished/painted.Obviously on any original parts still present, there may be normal signs of age/use.I’ve probably forgotten some minor details so highly recommend viewing.
Both with V5 in my name. (still waiting for one to return from DVLA – taking ages at the moment – covid).Both need Mot as they’ve expired. (1990 bike last mot expired 2012, 1993 bike mot expired end march 2020). One has 2 keys plus 2 keys for fuel filler cap. The other has 1 key plus 2 keys for fuel filler cap.Both have a chain guards (with minor surface rust) included for MOT.Both run well with no nasty noises.Brakes (new pads) will need bedding in.Sold as seen with no guarantees.Mileages shown cannot be guaranteed but check out OK on DVLA Mot records. No test rides without cash in my hand.No idiots, scams or silly offers but sensible offers from serious buyers considered.Prefer cash but bank transfer ok.
