Triumph Bonneville T100 – 2005 Date of 1st registration:01/01/2005Date of first UK registration:22/06/2012(Triumph letter states the bike was originally made for the American market)V5 Present in my name, 2 former keepers.Mileage: 32,000MOT expires 30th May 2019.
I purchased the bike from World of Bikes, Corby on 10/05/2013 as a completely standard bike with 4,793 miles and a service carried out prior to purchasing. They didn’t have the original Triumph service booklet so provided their own.Owners manual present.
The previous owner emailed me with the following work he’d carried out:Thruxton needles to carbs using one shimIncrease main jet size to 125K&N filterVelocity stackTriumph off road exhausts (TORS)”This gave it some more punch in the mid range 60-90mph”
Since owning the bike I’ve regularly serviced the bike and every winter it’s been garaged stored and cleaned. Swing arm removed, checked and regressed, valve clearances checked, cush drive bearing replaced, etc…and It’s mechanically sound with no issues, starts, runs and rides lovely. It’s had a cosmetic make over as follows:
Front mudguard replaced with Thruxton item, side panels and mudguard resprayed Opal white to match bike by KAS Racepaint. (Own design decals added)Headlight cowl and clock surround powder coated blackRear mudguard cut down and powder coated black.Rear light replaced, all indicators replaced with Rizoma Club items.LSL Flat tracker barsLSL brake/clutch levers, mirrors, grips, bar ends.National Cycle dark tint fly screen.Replacement seat cover in brown.Triumph retro tank badges.Hyperpro front fork springsHagen rear shocksGalfer front disc and pads.
Supersprox rear sprocket.
Recent new battery.New chainNew front & rear tyres (approx 1,500miles ago)
The bike has been used regularly for commuting, pleasure and a trip to Normandy. Overall condition is very good in my opinion.Bodywork and chrome is bright and beautiful, exhausts are bright but a couple of scratches and small dent evident, OEM silencers will be sold with the bike. Header pipes have marks where exhaust wrap was fitted.
I’ve enjoyed the bike over he last six years bit time for a change as I’m planning some longer trips with the wife so more room and comfort required so a VFR 800 is in the wings!I’ll gladly answer any questions, viewing available at a time to suit both parties.
