Up for sale today is this Yamaha Fazer 600 Cafe Racer project, it comes with keys and V5 Logbook, I’m not sure on the exact mileage as it has an aftermarket speedometer but at last MOT it had just over 39,000 on the clock, nothing really for one of these!
Last on the road in 2021 it’s been sat just under a year after someone vandalised it damaging the original clocks and headlight, the previous owner started fitting the new speedo and light unit but lost interest after buying a new bike and it has sat since.
With a jump (battery is dead) it starts and runs with no nasty noises, smoke or rattles, the brakes and suspension work as they should, tyres, chain and sprockets are all in good order, exhaust is stainless steel under the wrap. It’s a little tatty here and there, wiring needs sorting out for the headlight and speedometer, throttle is sticky I think the cable routing needs sorting out better.
All in all its a cool looking machine in need of a bit of tlc before returning to the road, shouldn’t take much work or cost much money really, all the expensive bits are in good order.
