Custom built SR500 Street Tracker “Bumble Bee”
Full build including:

All bearings, bolts, nuts and seals replaced throughout

Tank and Tail: custom Honda RS750 from Grand Prix Speedworks and originally used on Jake Latimers Indy Mile winning XS650. Resprayed, tank internally sealed and seat pad with pan professionally made.

Forks: Progressive springs and fork emulators

Wheels: MikesXS 19″ wheels front and back with Heidenau tyres

Engine: Dual oil feed, New Wossner oversize 87.5 piston with new conrod, cam and tappets refaced/ hard chromed, Mikuni VM36 carb, new timing chain, K&N filters on carb and breather, Engine completely and                      professionally rebuilt.

F rame: Cleaned of unnecessary tabs/brackets, new steering tapered roller bearings, new swingarm bearings and seals, frame blasted and powder coated. New footpegs and custom shortened XT500 side stand.

E lectrics: custom harness, Rex’s Speedshop coil, CDI and rectifier, Stator completely re-wired and refurbished, battery-less start, micro switch for indicators and horn, new horn, hidden wiring in handlebars, vintage                   BSA kill switch. Inconspicuous battery box under the seat.

Lights: Integrated Tru-Wrapz LED brake and indicator in the tail loop, Wrap-around Tru-Wrapz LED indicators on forks, Model 60 AdvMonster LED headlight.

Handlebars and steering: Triumph T120 shortened, Custom CNC’d handlebar mounts and CNC’d original top yoke. Motion-Pro quick throttle. All new cables throughout. Mini bicycle speedo (up to 200kph)

Brakes: rear drum with full new cush drive and drum internals. Front Nissan master cylinder brake.  Braided Venhill hose and fittings. Front caliper seals and piston replaced.

Shocks: Gazi rear adjustable shocks. Front fork damper

Chain: New DID heavy duty 520 chain and sprockets

Pipe and muffler: Custom one piece exhaust and downpipe – beautiful sound and power!

This bike has been completely built from the ground up taking time and care. It handles extremely well and is nimble and agile with plenty of power. Use it on the street or at the track. It will not let you down!
